Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • 5+ years progressive HR experience.
  • Experience in payroll, benefits, HR compliance.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • ADP and Concur experience preferred.
  • SHRM certification a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Drive full-cycle talent acquisition with hiring managers.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and execute offer letters with accurate communications.
  • Manage employee life-cycle including onboarding, performance, and offboarding.
  • Provide guidance on policies, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Administer payroll across domestic and international jurisdictions.
  • Manage employee benefits including PTO and 401(k) enrollment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain HR records.
  • Coordinate leave administration and HR reporting.
  • Review and approve expense reports (Concur experience preferred).
  • Partner with leadership to develop people strategies and engagement.
  • Support ad-hoc HR initiatives in a growing organization.

Our CE Marked CENTAURI System has treated thousands of patients globally, advancing AFib treatment through Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA) technology.

CardioFocus is continuing to invest in the development of next-generation technologies designed to improve the lives of patients with cardiac arrhythmias.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

CardioFocus is seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist/Manager to lead the company’s people strategy and day-to-day operations. This highly visible, hands-on role is ideal for a versatile professional who enjoys building effective processes while also managing day-to-day priorities. As a growing company, this individual will partner closely with leadership and employees to strengthen organizational effectiveness, support employee engagement and development, and help maintain a positive, high-performing workplace culture. This position will report to the Vice President of Finance and Administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Drive full-cycle talent acquisition, partnering with hiring managers to source, assess, and hire top talent
  • Prepare, coordinate, and execute offer letters, ensuring accuracy, timely communication, and a seamless transition from candidate selection through acceptance
  • Manage the employee life-cycle, including onboarding, performance management, goal-setting, employee development, and offboarding
  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, employee relations, performance issues, and HR best practices
  • Administer and process payroll across domestic and international jurisdictions
  • Manage employee benefits, including PTO, annual open enrollment, and the Company's 401(k) program
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain HR policies and employee records
  • Coordinate leave administration, personnel documentation, and routine HR reporting
  • Review and approve employee expense reports (Concur experience preferred)
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute people strategies that strengthen employee engagement and foster a collaborative culture
  • Support ad-hoc HR initiatives, projects, and operational needs as they arise, bringing a flexible, hands-on approach to a growing organization
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience; title will be based on experience
  • Experience in managing, recruiting, employee relations, payroll, benefits, and HR compliance
  • Experience administering employee benefits and 401(k) plans
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
  • ADP experience preferred
  • Concur experience preferred
  • Microsoft Suite experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus

SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $120,000 + Bonus
