Job summary

Iredell Health System in North Carolina is seeking a Frontline HR Onboarding Specialist who will focus on employee onboarding, orientation, and contract staff. You will present and maintain an organized process for new team members, apprentices, students and temporary staff.

The role may assist with payroll, badge creation, orientation classes and other tasks related to caring for our team members. You will work with the HR team to ensure a smooth, compliant, and welcoming entry for all hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; an associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with Human Resources functions.
• One year clerical or administrative experience, including customer service.
• Proficiency in personal computers and business software.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to handle new tasks and projects with autonomy.
• Understanding of confidentiality related to serving our team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and orientation of new team members, apprentices, and contract staff.
• Maintain an organized onboarding process.
• Support payroll and badge creation.
• Coordinate orientation classes and related tasks.

Additionally, the specialist can assist with payroll, creating badges, orientation classes and other tasks related to caring for our team members.

Requirements

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma; prefer at least Associate degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
• Experience/knowledge with Human Resources functions.
• One year clerical or administrative experience, including customer service experience.
• Proficiency in the use of personal computers and business software.
• Strong Communication skills both verbal and written to create a positive environment.
• Enjoyment of new tasks and projects along with the autonomy to complete routine processes.
• Understanding of the respect and confidentiality related to serving our team members.

Physical Demands

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
