Position SummaryThe Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting the administration, maintenance, and overall functionality of the company’s HRIS, labor allocation processes, and workforce systems. This role partners closely with the Timekeeping, Reporting, Payroll, HR, and Operations teams to support system accuracy, process consistency, and operational efficiency across workforce administration functions.This position plays a key role in maintaining HRIS records, supporting labor allocation workflows, assisting with system upkeep, and contributing to process improvements and organizational tools such as SharePoint resources and internal documentation. The HR Specialist will also assist with reporting support, audits, and cross-functional projects related to workforce administration and payroll operations.This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Compensation & BenefitsLabor Allocations, Systems & Workforce SupportSupport and maintain labor allocation processes within HRIS and workforce management systemsPartner with Payroll, Reporting, and Operations teams to assist with labor allocation accuracy and workforce data maintenanceAssist with workforce system upkeep, process consistency, and administrative support related to timekeeping and payroll operationsSupport audits, reviews, and data validation efforts related to labor allocation and workforce recordsAssist with maintaining documentation, process guides, and internal tracking toolsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements and operational efficienciesHRIS Administration & System SupportSupport the day-to-day administration and maintenance of the HRIS system and related workforce platformsMaintain associate records, organizational updates, and workforce system data as neededAssist with HRIS troubleshooting and respond to system-related questions from internal teamsSupport system audits, testing, upgrades, implementations, and ongoing process improvementsAssist with creating and maintaining SharePoint resources, internal documents, and team toolsMaintain confidentiality and security of sensitive associate and company informationGeneral Administrative SupportProvide administrative support to the HR, Payroll, and Timekeeping teams as neededAssist with process documentation, SOP updates, and internal auditsSupport compliance with company policies, wage and hour practices, and applicable state and federal regulationsParticipate in special projects and other duties as assignedQualificationsAssociate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field preferredMinimum 2 years of experience in HR, payroll, HRIS administration, timekeeping, or workforce administration preferredExperience working with HRIS and payroll systems required; Paycom experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of labor allocation processes preferredAdvanced attention to detail and data accuracy skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretionProficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting/filtering, and reporting functionsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsCore CompetenciesBusiness AcumenDecision QualityProcess ManagementCustomer FocusIntegrity and TrustPriority SettingOrganizational AgilityDrive for ResultsPhysical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to remain seated and work on a computer for extended periods of timeAbility to occasionally lift up to 15 poundsWork is primarily performed in an office environment with frequent computer and system useWorking ConditionsAccording to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), employees must be able to perform the “essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.The statements contained herein describe the scope of the responsibility and essential functions of this position but should not be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.
