Job summary

Aquarius Casino Resort in Laughlin, NV is seeking an Human Resources Representative to support the full scope of HR operations, including recruitment, benefits, HRIS, compliance, and employee relations. Your contributions help foster a positive workplace environment where team members feel supported, valued, and empowered to thrive.**Job Description:**Essential Functions and Responsibilities* Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture* Answer and direct incoming calls on a multi-line phone system* Greet and assist employees and job applicants at the front desk* Maintain and order office supplies to ensure availability for department operations* Receive and distribute incoming mail and faxes appropriately* Print and issue employee ID badges for new hires and current team members* Monitor and stock HR forms at all required locations* Collect and review materials from the HR drop box* Maintain the termination log and process termination checks as needed* Update address and name changes for terminated employees in relevant systems* Process unemployment claims and coordinate documentation as needed* Coordinate off-site file storage and retrieval with external vendors* Assist with planning and execution of employee events and recognition programs* Provide guidance to employees regarding work card applications and renewals* Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.* Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.* Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications* 1+ year of experience in Human Resources; experience in the gaming/hospitality industry preferred* Previous experience working collaboratively in a team or group environment* Bilingual in other languages preferred* Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment* Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team* Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment* Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system* Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft TeamsRequirements* At least 21 years of age* High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree or certification preferred* Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal* Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company* Verify right to work in the United StatesWork Cards* Nevada Gaming RegistrationPhysical Requirements* Occasionally push/pull up to 15lbs.* Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels* Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist* Frequently sit and work at a desk or computer* Regularly standing and walking* Ability to communicate using in-person speech and telephone* Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person* Ability to distinguish between shades of colorWork Environment Potential Conditions* Indoor* Smoky* Noisy* Bright flashing lights* Extreme hot cold temperatures* Exposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
