Job summary

Nashville Wire Products - Material Handling is seeking a Human Resources Recruiter/Generalist to manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for its Frankfort, KY location.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Plant Manager on staffing, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, and maintaining compliant records. You will own onboarding, benefits enrollment, and participate in job fairs to support community presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or HR Management required.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience as a generalist in a manufacturing setting.
• Full-cycle recruitment experience in a production environment required.
• Experience with time and attendance, leaves, morale events, and policy enforcement in a multi-shift plant.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Plant Manager to plan staffing and ensure strong candidate experience.
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates via databases, job boards, social media, and agencies.
• Review applications against requirements and maintain compliant ATS records.
• Coordinate pre-screen calls, interviews, and offer packages.
• Own onboarding and benefits enrollment, including first-day logistics.
• Support job fairs, career days, and community presence.
• Handle HR duties: communications, attendance, policy questions, morale activities.
• Manage safety program duties and ensure compliance with regs.

Nashville Wire Products - Material Handling is hiring a Human Resources Recruiter/Generalist to support full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations for its Frankfort, KY location.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Plant Manager to address staffing requirements while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience
• Source, identify, and evaluate candidates through internal and external resources such as databases, job boards, social media, networking, employment ads, career fairs, job placement services, and recruiting agencies
• Review employment applications by comparing qualifications and salary requests against posted requirements
• Maintain applicant tracking logs to keep records accurate and up to date for compliance with state and federal employment law
• Conduct pre-screen calls and schedule and run interviews; select candidates who can meet production needs while aligning with leadership expectations and core values
• Build competitive employment offers and present offer packages covering job duties, responsibilities, work schedules and conditions, compensation and benefits, policies, promotional opportunities, and other relevant details
• Own onboarding through New Hire Orientation and Benefits Enrollments, including coordination for the candidate’s first day of employment
• Support community presence and company image through participation in job fairs and school career days
• Handle additional HR duties including employee communications, time and attendance management, responding to HR policy and procedure questions, and supporting employee morale activities
• Manage safety program responsibilities and help ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management
• At least 5 years of related experience and training as a generalist in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Full-cycle recruitment experience in a production environment
• Prior experience across HR areas including time and attendance, leave management, employee morale event planning, and policy enforcement in a multi-shift manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (including Word and Excel)
• Ability to obtain HRIS and Payroll system knowledge
• Preferred: prior experience with Kronos, ADP, UKG, and/or applicant tracking systems

Compensation: USD 75,000 - 80,000 per year
