Job summary

Synergy Family Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated Human Resources Recruiter to source, engage, and recruit qualified candidates through job fairs, online platforms, and community outreach.

The role supports workforce growth by building pipelines, intern-to-employee transitions, and aligning recruitment with OMHC and PRP program staffing needs. This part-time, 1099 contractor position requires about 10 hours per week and is Hybrid (remote with in-person attendance at job fairs and outreach

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in recruitment, staffing, or human resources required.
  • Experience recruiting for behavioral health roles strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with clinical roles such as therapists, counselors, and support staff preferred.
  • Experience with LinkedIn recruiting and job board platforms strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health or healthcare staffing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Attend job fairs, career fairs, and community recruitment events (2–3 per month) to represent the organization.
  • Conduct recruitment outreach through LinkedIn, job boards, and professional networks.
  • Post, manage, and update job listings across recruitment platforms.
  • Source and engage qualified candidates to build and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
  • Support recruitment of OMHC clinicians, PRP staff, and DCS roles, ensuring alignment with program requirements.
  • Support intern engagement and retention efforts, including promoting internal employment opportunities.
  • Collaborate with HR and department leaders to assess staffing needs and recruitment priorities.
  • Assist in strengthening recruitment branding and organizational visibility.
  • Track recruitment activity and provide regular updates to HR leadership.
  • Support administrative recruitment tasks, including candidate follow-up and tracking.
  • Meet regularly with the HR and Training Manager to review recruitment progress and priorities.
  • Collaborate with the HR and Training Manager on recruitment-related projects and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of HR and organizational needs.

This role is responsible for sourcing, engaging, and recruiting qualified candidates through job fairs, online platforms, and community outreach. The HR Recruiter plays a critical role in supporting workforce growth by building strong candidate pipelines, assisting with intern-to-employee transitions, and aligning recruitment efforts with organizational staffing needs, particularly within OMHC and PRP programs.

Key Responsibilities
