Job summary

EmployBridge in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Payroll/HRIS Specialist to manage payroll for multiple entities, ensure compliance with certified payroll and Section 3 reporting, and drive benefits administration using Employee Navigator. Position Overview & Key Responsibilities

• Target salary range of approximately $50K-$75K, depending on experience.
• Payroll responsibility for a company with fewer than 200 employees.
• Processing approximately 2-3 biweekly payrolls/pay groups.
• Supporting payroll across three different companies/entities.
• Experience supporting mergers/acquisitions, company setup, and tax setup is very valuable.
• Experience with certified payroll, Section 3 reporting, and construction/government contractor payroll requirements is required.
• Experience with tax documentation and tax filings.
• Benefits administration experience, particularly with Employee Navigator, is preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity is a plus.
• Ability to take ownership of the HRIS system, including onboarding/new employee setup.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We will prioritize someone with strong payroll experience who can step into the role with a solid understanding of payroll processes and become independent relatively quickly. A bachelor's degree is preferred, along with a strong payroll and HR background.

• Because of the complexity of the position, we will focus on candidates with meaningful payroll experience of 3 years plus rather than someone brand new to the field. Longevity and stability in previous positions will also be an important consideration.
