Vicar's Landing is looking for an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our Human Resources team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the operational side of HR—keeping things organized, supporting employees, administering benefits, working within an HRIS, and making sure the details are handled accurately and on time.

You’ll be an important part of a collaborative HR team while owning many of the day-to-day processes that keep HR running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Serve as a primary resource for employees with questions about benefits, HR programs, policies, and routine HR matters.
• Manage day-to-day benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, employee questions, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain accurate employee information and process HR transactions within our HRIS.
• Support leave administration, employment changes, and other employee lifecycle processes.
• Maintain HR records and help ensure required documentation is complete and compliant.
• Prepare routine HR reports and assist with audits and compliance activities.
• Partner with employees, managers, Payroll, and other members of the HR team to resolve day-to-day questions and issues.
• Identify opportunities to make HR processes more efficient, accurate, and employee-friendly.
• Provide additional HR operational support as needed.

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of Human Resources experience, with hands-on experience supporting day-to-day HR operations.
• Benefits administration experience is important for this role.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to independently manage recurring responsibilities and deadlines.
• Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
• Comfort working in HR systems and learning new technology.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a busy, people-focused environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Paycom or a similar HRIS.
• Experience working in healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or another multi-shift environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
