Our client is a private equity firm. They seek a Human Resources Operations Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Onboard and offboard new employees, coordinating with external HR partners
- Work with PEO and other benefit providers, including semi-monthly payroll runs
- Execute all employee termination procedures by ensuring all access is removed
- Process leaves of absence, ensuring proper documentation and compliance
- Maintain employee files, payroll records, and all other employment-related records
- Oversee the payroll process by running semi-monthly payroll and annual bonuses
- Administer and manage benefit plans, including liaising with brokers and providers
- Respond to general employee inquiries on employment, benefits, company policies, etc.
- Support compliance efforts by staying current on employment laws and policies
- Update the employee handbook, travel policy, and other HR documents
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
- 8+ years of HR experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
