Kingfisher Recruiting in the greater Knoxville area is seeking an HR Manager for the trucking and transportation division, supporting 450+ drivers and related personnel. You will lead two HR Generalists / Recruiters, coordinate driver background checks, pre-employment screenings and DOT physicals, and drive onboarding, retention, and training programs.

Required: BS degree with PHR or SPHR certification; FMCSA compliance experience and Driver Qualification files in trucking or logistics.

Major corporation in the greater Knoxville TN area has immediate opening for an HR Manager in their Trucking / Transportation division employing 450+ truck drivers and support personnel including terminal managers, dispatchers, routers, driver supervisors, etc. The HR Manager will lead two HR Generalists / Recruiters. This is a multi-site role, but travel is not significant.

The HR Manager will ensure Driver Background Checks, Pre-Employment Medical Screenings, and DOT Physicals are coordinated and in compliance. Will be heavily involved in interviewing, hiring, and on-boarding new drivers.

The HR Manager will also maintain employee benefit programs in addition to developing new programs focusing on retention, employee development, and training.

Qualified candidates will have BS degree along with PHR or SPHR certification. Experience with FMCSA Compliance and Driver Qualification files is required. Must have previous experience in Truck Driving / Transportation industry or related Logistics field.
