Basic Duties and Responsibilities

The Human Resources Manager in North America executes HR strategies to meet business targets through people management. This role supports a diverse workforce including salaried, hourly, and temporary employees, ensuring responsibilities are performed safely, accurately, and timely, adhering to policies and standards. Regular attendance is mandatory.

Reporting to the Site Director, the manager collaborates with the Southaven management team to drive operational, logistics, and HR excellence using metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Training and Development: Design and implement training plans, measure effectiveness, manage delivery, and facilitate leadership development.
  2. Recruitment and Selection: Manage open roles, ensure policy compliance, coach managers, and oversee onboarding/offboarding processes.
  3. Performance Management: Implement performance systems, address poor performance, and foster a culture of excellence.
  4. Employee Relations: Manage employee issues and promote a collaborative work environment.
  5. Compensation and Benefits: Analyze and advise on pay discrepancies, recognition programs, and compliance with compensation policies.
  6. Stakeholder Management and Compliance: Ensure legal compliance, foster business partnerships, and maintain confidentiality.
  7. People Management: Develop high-performance teams, provide guidance, and promote service excellence.
  8. HRIS Management: Maintain data integrity in Workday, ensure accurate reporting, and promote its use as the single source of truth.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in warehouse, distribution, or facilities management.
  • 5-7 years progressive HR management experience.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean, 6S, NAFTA, Trade Compliance, CTPAT.
  • Experience managing multi-location facilities preferred.
  • Strong documentation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Leadership and relationship-building abilities.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
