Essential Functions
  1. Maintain relationships by developing an understanding of strategies and business operations; attend client meetings; assist in presentation preparation; answer questions; explain policies and procedures.
  2. Increase employee effectiveness by communicating job expectations. Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; communicate values, strategies, and objectives.
  3. Plan, monitor, and appraise job results; foster a climate for open communication; provide educational opportunities.
  4. Maximize diversity by identifying issues, coaching during hiring, and providing training and guidance.
  5. Respond to employment-related civil actions, federal agency charges, and employee complaints by conducting investigations, maintaining documentation, and partnering with legal counsel.
  6. Resolve dissatisfaction by investigating complaints, evaluating options, and providing guidance.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and laws.
  8. Represent the organization in meetings with government officials and at hearings or mediations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; other combinations of experience and education may be considered.
  • Three or more years of experience, including at least 2 years in management.
Physical Requirements
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word preferred.
  • Physical activity includes sitting, operating a computer, viewing monitors, hearing and speaking via telephone, reaching, and occasionally lifting up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment
  • Moderate noise level; natural and fluorescent lighting; minimal supervision.
