Position Summary:

Ackerman is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager with a minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted advisor and consultant to business leaders, driving HR initiatives that align with organizational objectives. The HRBP will play a key role in shaping the employee experience, fostering a high-performance culture, and delivering solutions in areas such as talent management, organizational design, employee relations, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with senior leaders and managers to understand business strategies, goals, and challenges, and translate them into HR initiatives that drive business performance.
  • Provide expert guidance and coaching to managers on a range of HR topics including performance management, employee relations, talent development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Able to lead and implement HR programs and initiatives such as an HRIS implementation, succession planning, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and workforce planning.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct effective and thorough investigations when needed.
  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop proactive solutions, programs, and policies.
  • Support talent acquisition efforts by collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
  • Advise on compensation and benefits strategies, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
  • Champion a culture of continuous feedback, performance excellence, and employee engagement.
  • Drive organizational change and transformation initiatives, providing expertise in change management and communication strategies.
  • Ensure HR compliance with local labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives at both local and global levels as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a business partner or HR generalist role supporting mid-to-large-sized teams.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication (both oral and written), and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in driving HR initiatives that positively impact business performance and employee engagement.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in trades, i.e., plumbing, construction, and manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
