Job summary

Plona Partners in San Francisco and Silicon Valley seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to own HR operations across two California offices. This hybrid role requires 3 days in office and 2 remote with travel to a nearby Silicon Valley office as needed.

You will partner with local leadership and the HR organization to manage employee relations, onboarding, compliance, recruiting, immigration coordination, and day-to-day HR administration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a large organization.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws and regulations.
• Experience within a law firm or professional services environment preferred.
• Familiarity with Workday.
• Employee relations and performance management experience.
• Ability to handle highly confidential matters.
• Prior experience supervising or developing HR staff.

Responsibilities

We’re partnering with a leading international law firm to identify an experienced Human Resources Manager to support its San Francisco and Silicon Valley offices. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who understands the pace, discretion, and complexity of a sophisticated professional services environment and wants to take ownership of HR operations across two important California offices.

The Human Resources Manager will serve as a trusted partner to local office leadership while working closely with the firm’s broader HR organization. The role will have meaningful responsibility across employee relations, performance management, onboarding, compliance, recruiting, immigration coordination, and day-to-day HR administration.
