A leading company in sustainable mobility technology seeks a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR functions at their Fort Wayne facility. The role involves aligning HR strategies with business objectives, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with laws. The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR and significant experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Overall responsibilities and duties:
The Human Resources Manager will provide support in all areas of Human Resources, (i.e. recruitment, employment, record maintenance, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, training, database administration, and special projects.) The HR Manager will support the Fort Wayne, IN facility in the day-to-day HR management, in accordance to Faurecia’s policies and procedures.
The main missions of the role are:
Align business objectives with human resources strategies that support the annual Plant Improvement Plan objectives in the areas of talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, compensation, and organizational development
Recommend action plans and participate in their deployment
Work with cross functional teams, other plant HR teams, Division, and Country HR members to ensure the effective delivery of HR support and services to the business
Maintain HR department budget
Counsel management on Federal and State Employment law
Ensure full respect of HSE rules and regulations
Manage industrial relations with local employee represnetatives.
Ensure efficient payroll and administration processes.
Talent and Organizational Development
Assist and lead, for assigned population, the People and Salary Review process and ensure appropriate linkages with broader functional and business reviews
Work with the management team to drive talent development (mentoring, leadership, training and development programs etc.)
Employee Relations
Follow vision established within Being Faurecia
Act with an entrepreneurial mind-set as well as with autonomy and accountability
Monitor the effectiveness of employee relations programs and policies
Recommend and assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, and their dissemination through employee handbooks, and/or meetings
Provide sound advice and counsel to management in all employee relations matter
Assist in the development and implementation of employee engagement activities
Labor Relations
Drive positive employee & labor relations, including Positive Employee Relations training & process
Anticipate employee issues, concerns, and needs based on business strategies, internal and external environmental, and competitive factors
Administration
Manage and maintain required databases and record keeping within Faurecia standards
Ensure associate information in HRIS systems is accurate and up to date
Facilitate efficient payroll and administration processes
Support benefit administration
Report relevant HR information to the Division
Create and maintain training matrices and associate training records
Answer employee queries related to payroll and other HR related matters
Manage immigration process for employees
Utilize the Faurecia HR Leadership Competency Model to support benchmark HR activities
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
Experience
5 years of Human Resources experience in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting both hourly and salaried populations required
Previous Payroll system experience preferred (Sucessfactors, Globalview, eTime)
