Job summary

Classic Tents & Events is seeking a Human Resources Manager in Norcross, GA to lead HR functions and align people strategies with business objectives. The role covers recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, benefits, compliance, and safety, serving as the trusted advisor to leadership and staff.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, bilingual English/Spanish, and professional HR certification.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
  • Bilingual: English and Spanish fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee recruiting and talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and workers’ compensation regulations.
  • Lead performance management initiatives and processes.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions in compliance with labor laws.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on succession planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Ensure legal compliance across all HR practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws.
  • Drive employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Plan and oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll administration in partnership with finance.
  • Support ongoing safety initiatives and deliver safety training.

Job description

Position Overview Th Human Resource Manager position will perform, lead and direct HR functions, ensuring alignment between business objectives and people strategies. This role is responsible for the full scope of Human Resource operations—including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and organizational culture—while serving as a trusted advisor to leadership and staff. Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, discipline and development of Human Resources Team members. Qualifications
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to make business and organizational decisions.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish fluently.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. Key Competencies
