Description The Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting and administering key HR functions, including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, performance management, HR compliance, and workplace safety. This position partners closely with leaders and team members throughout the organization to provide HR guidance, resolve employee‑related issues, and support a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.
Requirements
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions, including job postings, candidate sourcing and screening, interviewing, pre-employment background checks, physicals, and drug screening.
- Partner with hiring managers throughout the selection process and provide guidance and feedback regarding candidates, hiring decisions, and offers.
- Coordinate the new hire onboarding and orientation process, including internal communication, completion of required documentation, benefits information, and ensuring new team members are prepared for a successful start.
- Serve as a resource to team members and leaders regarding HR policies, employee relations, workplace concerns, performance management, attendance, corrective action, and other employment matters.
- Review time and attendance information and process or coordinate payroll‑related changes to ensure timely and accurate payroll administration.
- Administer employee benefit programs, including enrollment, eligibility, employee communications, and assistance with benefit and claim‑related questions.
- Meet with team members regarding benefit enrollment and life‑event changes and ensure required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Support compensation administration and participate in compensation and benefit surveys, market reviews, and other benchmarking activities.
- Partner with managers on performance management, coaching, corrective action, and documentation to promote consistency and compliance with company practices.
- Participate in operational and departmental meetings, including daily Production meetings, to provide HR support, address workforce concerns, and assist with timely resolution of employee‑related issues.
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and workforce information using the HRIS to identify trends and provide information requested by management.
- Manage the employee separation process, including internal notifications, exit interviews, final documentation, benefit notifications, and termination from applicable internal and external systems.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and ensure HR documentation is completed and retained in accordance with company requirements and applicable regulations.
- Support workplace safety initiatives, including OSHA record‑keeping, participation on the Safety Committee, incident follow‑up, and the development and implementation of safety programs and training.
- Assist with investigations involving employee relations, policy violations, safety concerns, and other workplace matters.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and recommend updates to policies and practices as needed.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve processes, employee experience, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuing education, professional organizations, industry resources, and professional networking.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education And/or Experience
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices and applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

- Ability to effectively coach and advise managers on employee relations and performance matters.

Physical Requirements
