The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the Museum’s human resources functions and supporting a positive, compliant, and effective workplace. This position provides guidance and support to employees, supervisors, and leadership in areas including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, compliance, training, and employee development.
The HR Manager serves as a resource to leadership and staff and works collaboratively with third-party HR consultants and other partners to ensure effective HR policies, practices, and procedures.
This position requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, work at a computer, and communicate effectively in person, by phone, and electronically. Occasional lifting or moving of materials up to 15 pounds may be required. This position operates primarily in a professional office and museum environment. Work is typically performed indoors and involves regular interaction with staff, visitors, volunteers, and external partners.
