The Human Resources Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including recruiting and onboarding, employee records, workers compensation administration, benefits administration, payroll, timekeeping, and leave administration. The role also involves assisting in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Leads the recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent.
  • Provides counsel to leaders and the executive team.
  • Conducts investigations and makes recommendations based on findings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supports HR generalists, managers, and staff with complex, sensitive issues, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
  • Manages talent acquisition, including recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for managerial, exempt, and professional roles.
  • Analyzes compensation and benefits trends; proposes competitive pay programs.
  • Creates learning and development initiatives for internal growth.
  • Oversees disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws and reviews policies accordingly.
  • Keeps updated on HR trends, regulations, and technologies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
