The HR Manager owns components of the overall HR Strategy as well as delivering against enterprise priorities at their local site. As the Human Resources Manager, you will use your strong technical and analytical skills to lead and coordinate HR operational and strategic activities such as recruiting, talent management, HRIS implementation and maintenance, benefits, compensation, payroll administration, and leadership development. You will oversee the daily operation of the company HRIS, generate reports and dashboards (e.g., turnover reports, hiring costs, benefit reports), and collaborate with IT to perform regular testing and audits of HRIS to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
YOUR TASKS
- Refine our human resources policies and procedures to ensure best practice.
- Manage contingent labor relationships and develop competitive staffing strategies for both short-term and long-term requirements.
- Establish measurement criteria to ensure effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Oversee the performance management processes for the team.
- Support colleagues in their career development goals.
- Serve as the central point of contact for human resources advice, guidance, and customized solutions to local management and employees.
- Assess organizational needs, develop plans, and proactively implement them using key resources inside and outside the department.
- Coordinate with site managers and HR staff to address site-specific challenges and promote a unified HR approach.
- Stay informed of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and addressing potential risks proactively.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and senior management to mitigate HR-related risks and liabilities, providing guidance and recommendations.
- Support departmental process improvements continuously.
- Perform any additional tasks necessary to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment.
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, or equivalent, with 5 years of HR management experience.
- Experience managing a team of HR professionals.
- Experience managing staffing agency partnerships.
- Experience auditing HR reporting systems and database administration.
- Excellent communication skills to advise and influence at all organizational levels.
- Knowledge of data protection regulations.
- Familiarity with payroll systems and ATS.
- Strong analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Master's degree (preferred).
- SHRM certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP) (preferred).
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (preferred).
