Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support all HR functions, reporting to the CEO. The role covers payroll, compliance, compensation, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations to advance Clovernook’s mission.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in HR, 5+ years of HR generalist experience (non-profit a plus), experience with HRIS systems (Paylocity preferred), and professional HR certification preferred.

Clovernook Center for the Blind & Visually Impaired is seeking a Human Resources Manager to support the smooth and efficient operation of the Human Resources Department while helping advance Clovernook’s mission to empower people who are blind or visually impaired to lead active, productive, and independent lives.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing key HR functions, supporting employees and supervisors, ensuring compliance, and promoting a positive and inclusive work environment. This role serves as an initial and primary point of contact for HR-related questions and provides guidance on hiring practices, employee relations, policies and procedures, compensation, benefits, payroll, and other human resources matter. The Human Resources Manager reports to the CEO.
The ideal candidate is an experienced, approachable, and detail-oriented human resources professional who can balance day-to-day HR operations with thoughtful, mission-driven support for employees and leaders. This individual will bring strong knowledge of HR best practices, compliance, employee relations, payroll, benefits, recruitment, and performance management, along with the ability to communicate clearly, maintain confidentiality, and build positive working relationships across the organization. A successful candidate will be proactive, organized, adaptable, and committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that supports Clovernook’s mission and the people it serves.
