Transdev North America in Chico, CA seeks a Human Resources Manager to support the management team with full cycle recruiting and HR responsibilities. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and policy compliance in a transportation environment.

The position requires at least 2 years of HR experience, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. DOT-related testing may apply, and flexibility in shift scheduling is expected.

• Full-cycle recruiting responsibilities including reviewing applications, scheduling and hosting interviews, and hiring through Jobvite.
• Create and maintain employee files and onboarding paperwork.
• Manage driver and staff payroll and leaves of absence, including FMLA tracking.
• Educate employees on benefits provided.
• Quality assurance checks ensuring compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify.

Job description

Transdev in Chico, Ca. is hiring a Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Manager supports the management team with full cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Salary

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $74,000 – maximum $80,000

Benefits

• Vacation: minimum of two (1) week
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 10days; 6 standard and 4 floating
• Other standard benefits: 401(k) retirement plan, medical, dental and vision, life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting responsibilities including reviewing new applications, scheduling & hosting interviews, and hiring candidates through the Application Tracking System – Jobvite
• Create and maintain employee files - complete all new hire EEO/AAP documents and onboarding paperwork
• Manage driver & staff payroll and leaves of absence, including, employee FMLA tracking
• Educate employees on benefits provided
• Quality Assurance Checks ensuring compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify requirements.
• Support employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.

Qualifications

• Other duties as required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 Years Of Human Resources Experience.
• College course work in a related field preferred.
• Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
