ADP, Inc. is seeking an HR Manager to support a broad range of human resource functions across the workforce in a manufacturing environment.

You will serve as a resource to employees and leaders, ensuring consistent application of policies, a positive employee experience, and compliance with employment laws. The role covers employee relations, onboarding, benefits and leave administration, HRIS data management, and ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors on policies, benefits, and employment matters.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee and company information.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
  • Ensure completion of pre-employment documentation including I-9 and E-Verify requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and audit employee files and onboarding records.
  • Administer benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life and retirement plans.
  • Coordinate Open Enrollment and benefits communications.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and invoice reconciliations.
  • Administer COBRA notifications and related documentation.
  • Assist with questions regarding FMLA, ADA, and STD/LTD.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Process status changes, terminations, and related HR documentation.
  • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and generate HR metrics.
  • Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives in HR.
  • Oversee HR team and coordinate with legal counsel on matters.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job description

The HR Manager is responsible for supporting a broad range of human resource functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, benefits administration, leave management, performance management, compliance, and HR operations. This position serves as a resource to employees and leaders, helping to ensure consistent application of company policies, a positive employee experience, and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Serve as a resource to employees and supervisors regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and employment-related matters.
  • Assist with employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, performance concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all employee, company, and department information.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
Onboarding & Employee Administration
  • Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Ensure completion and compliance of all pre-employment and new hire documentation, including I-9 verification and E-Verify requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and audit employee personnel files and onboarding records.
Benefits & Leave Administration
  • Administer employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
  • Coordinate annual Open Enrollment activities and employee benefit communications.
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, terminations, and invoice reconciliations.
  • Administer COBRA notifications and maintain related documentation.
  • Assist employees with questions regarding benefits, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and STD/LTD.
  • Conduct periodic audits of benefit programs and records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Compliance & HR Administration
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Process employee status changes, terminations, and related HR documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS and other company systems.
  • Prepare reports and monitor HR metrics, attendance trends, turnover, and workforce data.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives as required.
  • Process unemployment claims, hearings, and related correspondence.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within Human Resources.
People Management
  • Oversee team of HR Professionals
General
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Support coordination of legal counsel on varies matters

  • Ability to learn and utilize new HR technologies and reporting tools efficiently.
  • Experience with UKG, Global Shop ERP, or similar HR/payroll systems preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 Years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Primary work will be conducted in an on-site office building located on a manufacturing site.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when in the plant environment
  • Safety-sensitive position; subject to pre-employment and reasonable-suspicion drug testing
