Job description

The Human Resources Manager ensures organizational talent is prepared to deliver exceptional performance through partnership with business leaders and by building strong organizational capabilities and culture. Utilizing functional and technical expertise, the manager develops, implements, manages, and continuously improves strategies and tactics related to talent management, employee engagement, benefits, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, and compensation.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Talent Management: Develop, implement, and manage organizational programs related to team member development, retention, performance management, onboarding, career development, and succession planning to ensure a talent pipeline that supports current strategies and future growth.
  • Inclusive Culture / Employee Engagement: Build a culture that empowers all employees to bring their true and most productive selves to work. Embed inclusion in all people practices, provide recommendations to managers on emerging workplace trends, address team member needs or issues within legal compliance and cultural guardrails, support implementation of engagement surveys, feedback sessions, and action planning, and advocate for the company’s culture, brand, and values.
  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with hiring managers to evaluate talent needs and ensure acceptable staffing levels. Manage the full recruiting process, focus on interviewing and selection to ensure a high‑quality talent pipeline, and assist hiring managers with effective use of selection criteria and onboarding tools.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, advocate for, and implement best practices across all business areas; simplify or reduce non‑value‑added processes. Facilitate business units in identifying and resolving opportunities for increased efficiency or reduced bureaucracy, enable compliance in regulated practices, and promote team member involvement and empowerment in decision making.
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field with at least 5 years of applicable experience.
  • SPHR or SHRM‑SCP certification desired.
  • Experience in a manufacturing plant preferred.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition preferred.
  • Ability to interact and influence all levels of the organization with confidence, building trust and rapport; capable of providing courageous and decisive advice.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving ability, particularly in ambiguous or complex situations, with an understanding of broad implications of business unit needs or decisions.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Remains calm under pressure and can lead through difficult (emotional, complex, legal) situations.
  • Strong change‑management leadership in a high‑growth, cross‑functional organization.
  • Strong time‑management and project‑management abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills.
