Job summary

Claire’s is seeking a motivated and people-focused student to join our Human Resources team as a Summer 2027 Intern, located in Rosemont, IL. This internship provides broad exposure to the people side of a retail organization and the opportunity to see how HR supports employees, leaders, and the business.

As an HR Intern, you’ll work alongside team members and gain experience across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, HR operations, reporting, and communications.

Claire’s is looking for a motivated and people-focused student to join our Human Resources team as a Summer 2027 Intern. This internship provides broad exposure to the people side of a retail organization and the opportunity to see how HR supports employees, leaders, and the business.

As an HR Intern, you’ll work alongside members of our HR team and gain exposure to different areas of the employee lifecycle.

What You’ll Get To Experience

• Support HR projects and initiatives across the employee lifecycle.
• Gain exposure to Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, HR Business Partnerships, Total Rewards, and other areas of HR.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong interest in Human Resources and the employee experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle information with professionalism and discretion.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.

Summary

All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
