Job summary

Claire’s is seeking a creative, trend-focused Design Intern for Summer 2027 to experience how ideas and trends translate into products for Claire’s customers. You’ll gain exposure to the creative process and collaborate with team members developing products and collections across the Claire’s brand.

This internship offers hands-on learning about trend research, mood boards, design materials, and the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Product Design, Graphic Design, Accessories Design, or a related field.
• Strong interest in fashion, accessories, youth culture, and emerging trends.
• Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or other relevant design software preferred.
• Ability to communicate creative ideas visually and verbally.
• Strong organizational and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support trend, color, product, and competitive research.

As a Design Intern, you’ll gain exposure to the creative process and collaborate with team members responsible for developing products and collections across the Claire’s brand.

Depending on business priorities and team assignments, you may have the opportunity to:

What We’re Looking For

• Portfolio or examples of relevant creative work may be requested during the selection process.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later preferred.

Summary

All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
