Federated Insurance is seeking a Summer 2027 HR Intern to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment. You will rotate through benefits, leave administration, recruiting, employee relations, and HRIS while contributing to real projects and trainings.

The internship runs June 7, 2027 to August 18, 2027, with a pay rate of $24.50 per hour and opportunities for mentorship and professional development in a supportive team.

Federated is seeking a motivated and curious HR Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. This internship offers a unique opportunity to explore the many facets of Human Resources through job shadowing, project work, and professional development.

What You’ll Experience:

As an HR Intern at Federated, you’ll rotate through various areas of our HR department, gaining exposure to:

• Employee benefits and wellness programs
• Leave administration and workers’ compensation
• Talent acquisition and recruiting strategies
• Employee relations and engagement initiatives
• HR systems and data management (HRIS)
• Special projects and cross-functional collaboration

You’ll work alongside experienced HR professionals, contribute to real-world tasks, and participate in team meetings and trainings. By the end of your internship, you’ll deliver a presentation to HR leadership summarizing your experience and key takeaways.

Federated Insurance is seeking a full-time Human Resources intern in our Owatonna, MN office. This paid internship will start on Monday, June 7th, 2027 and end on Wednesday, August 18th, 2027. Pay for this internship is $24.50 per hour.
