Job summary

Park Capital Search is seeking a driven HR-minded student to help build our people function from the ground up in Winter Park, FL. You will design policies, launch our employee handbook, and shape the onboarding process for future hires.

This hybrid, in-office role requires college enrollment and a strong interest in HR. You will gain real ownership early, with quarterly performance-based renewals and a flexible, hands-on learning environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or graduate program (HR, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred).
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable with ambiguity (you'll be building things that don't exist yet).
• Able to commit to in-office days Tuesday & Thursday (hybrid otherwise).
• Reliable transportation to Winter Park, FL office.

You'll have a direct hand in shaping the systems, policies, and culture that will define this company for years to come. What You'll Work On

• Employee handbook development (policies, PTO, code of conduct, remote/hybrid guidelines)
• HR compliance basics (FLSA, EEOC, ADA, I-9/E-Verify, FL-specific requirements like workers' comp & unemployment insurance)
• Job description creation and org structure support
• Recruiting/ATS process support
• HRIS research & setup recommendations
• Performance review framework (early-stage)
• Policy research (safety, leave, benefits benchmarking for future offerings)
