Job summary

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is seeking an HR administrative intern in Columbus. You will update templates, track office responsibilities, and maintain electronic records to support HR operations.

Responsibilities include indexing files in OnBase, boxing files per retention schedules, and generating bi-weekly HR reports while assisting senior analysts on diverse projects.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Experience with HR administrative tasks is a plus.

  • Track updated position descriptions by office.
  • Save position descriptions with established naming conventions.
  • Scan and index personnel files in electronic personnel system (OnBase).
  • Assist staff with boxing up files per records retention schedule.
  • Update templates and forms to department letterhead.
  • Use checklists to archive electronic documents on SharePoint sites.
  • Generate HR reports and compile stats in bi-weekly reports.
  • Support HR senior analysts and managers on various projects.
