Schuylkill Center is currently looking for a full timeHuman Resources (HR) Director!
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related
Must have, as a minimum, five (5) year(s) experience in Human Resources Administration, preferably in a long-term care or hospital setting
Must possess a thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in nursing care facilities
Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc
Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the Human Resources programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the Facility
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
Performance management and improvement systems;
Organization development and training in support of organizational directives;
Management of Employment and compliance/ regulatory concerns;
Employee staffing, orientation, development, and training;
Policy implementation and education;
Employee relations including direction of the employee engagement committee;
Compensation and benefits administration;
Employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health management including management of location Workers Compensation and Unemployment programs.
