Schuylkill Center invites applications for a full-time Human Resources Director to lead HR operations at our Pottsville, PA location. The role requires strategic HR leadership, regulatory compliance, and strong people management to support a care-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in HR administration, preferably in long-term care or hospital setting.
• Knowledge of employment laws and guidelines in nursing care facilities.
• Ability to develop and implement HR programs and policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schuylkill Center is currently looking for a full time Human Resources (HR) Director!

Requirements of the Human Resources (HR) Director

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related
• Must have, as a minimum, five (5) year(s) experience in Human Resources Administration, preferably in a long-term care or hospital setting
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in nursing care facilities
• Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc
• Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the Human Resources programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the Facility
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.
