Job summary

Excelsior Care Group is seeking an HR Coordinator for West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delray Beach, FL. The role focuses on employee engagement, payroll changes, benefits administration, and compliance with health regulations.

You will lead recruitment, handle I-9, workers' comp, and FMLA, and partner with leadership to build a positive, compliant workplace. Requires 2+ years HR experience in healthcare; Empeon experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Human Resources, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare environment.
• Preferred Empeon experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Champion employee engagement by developing morale programs, managing effective discipline practices, and handling payroll changes, terminations, and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Department of Health guidelines.
• Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and interviewing top talent to fill open roles.
• Oversee critical HR processes such as I-9 documentation, workers' compensation, disability claims, and FMLA administration.

Facility: West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Location: Delray, Florida
Shift: Full Time
Pay Rate: $26 - $29 per hour depending on experience
