Transdev in Arcadia, CA is hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support the management team with full-cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities, emphasizing safety and customer service.

The role includes creating and maintaining employee files, onboarding paperwork, payroll and leaves management, benefits education, and compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify requirements. A minimum of 2 years HR experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle recruiting responsibilities from posting to hiring through Jobvite.
• Create and maintain employee files and onboarding documentation.
• Manage payroll and leaves of absence, including FMLA tracking.
• Educate employees on provided benefits and corporate policies.
• Ensure compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify.

Human Resources Generalist

Transdev in Arcadia, CA is hiring a Human Resources Generalist . The Human Resources Generalist supports the management team with full-cycle recruiting and other HR-related responsibilities. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

Transdev is proud to offer:

• Competitive compensation package of minimum $58,000 – maximum $73,000

Benefits include:

• Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks
• Sick days: 5 days
• Holidays: 12 days; 8 standard and 4 floating

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-cycle recruiting responsibilities, including reviewing new applications, scheduling & hosting interviews, and hiring candidates through the Application Tracking System – Jobvite
• Create and maintain employee files - complete all new hire EEO/AAP documents and onboarding paperwork
• Manage driver & staff payroll and leaves of absence, including employee FMLA tracking
• Educate employees on the benefits provided
• Quality Assurance Checks ensuring compliance with background checks, drug and alcohol screens, and E-Verify requirements.
• Support employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience.
• College coursework in a related field preferred.
• Computer-literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
• Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
