Job summary

A dynamic human resources company in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced People & Culture Generalist to manage internal HR needs across divisions. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in HR administration, ideally with knowledge of labor laws and exceptional people skills. Responsibilities include administering policies, assisting with recruitment, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Qualifications

  • Five or more years of human resource administration experience required.
  • At least one year of human resource generalist or management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of FMLA regulations.
  • Exceptional people skills with ability to counsel/advise.
  • Ability to build relationships across organizational levels.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS systems like Workday/UltiPro.

Responsibilities

  • Administer company policies and benefit programs.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts and conduct orientation.
  • Manage FMLA leave and disability tasks.
  • Manage FMLA leave and disability tasks and reporting.
  • Work within the UltiPro HRIS system.
  • Maintain records for insurance, 401(k), hires, promotions, compensation, transfers, and terminations.
  • Facilitate manager training on interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, harassment.
  • Assist with investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
  • Support engagement and recognition programs.
  • Administer HRIS tasks related to recruiting, onboarding, and offboarding.
  • Stay updated on HR trends, regulatory changes, and employment law.

The person in this role will manage the day-to-day internal People & Culture needs for all assigned divisions. This person will provide support the implementation, communication, and administration of People & Culture initiatives. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (and doing well!)
  • Administration of company policies, procedures, benefit programs, and documentation for People & Culture matters for all assigned locations.
  • Assist with recruitment efforts and prepare employees for assignments by planning and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Ensure that all Divisions are compliant with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Effectively manage FMLA leave and disability related tasks and reporting.
  • Work and transact within the UltiPro HRIS system.
  • Maintain all records of insurance coverage, 401(k) plans and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, compensation adjustments, transfers, and terminations for all Divisions.
  • Facilitate a managers’ training program for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, harassment, and other key areas.
  • Aid and facilitate employee investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
  • Assist with initiatives designed to recognize performance through engagement reviews and other employee programs.
  • Administer HRIS tasks related to recruiting, onboarding and offboarding.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
WHAT WE LIKE ABOUT YOU
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program, preferably in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Five or more years of human resource administration experience required; at least one year of human resource generalist or management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of labor laws, employment law guidelines & policies and compliance regulations, including FMLA.
  • Exceptional people skills and experience providing counsel/feedback.
  • Ability to develop relationships and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Working knowledge of Workday or related payroll and HR management systems.
  • Able to occasionally travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.
