Job summary

The Bachrach Group is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join a high-performing HR team in a fast-paced financial services environment. The role supports the full employee lifecycle and partners with senior leaders to drive organizational growth.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HR Generalist or HR Operations, strong employment law knowledge, and experience with immigration processes. This hybrid role requires 4 days in-office and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 4+ years HR Generalist or HR Operations experience.
  • Experience in financial services, investment management, private equity, or related industries preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, immigration regulations, and visa/work authorization processes.
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, including offers, background checks, I-9, benefits, performance, and HRIS updates.
  • Provide guidance on policies, employee relations, benefits, and HR programs to employees and managers.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Lead U.S. and global immigration processes with outside counsel on sponsorship and visas.
  • Support performance management, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, reporting, and HR data.
  • Assist with policy development, process improvements, and special HR projects.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding through offboarding, including offer letters, background checks, I-9 compliance, benefits administration, performance management, and HRIS updates
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, employee relations, benefits, and HR programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
  • Lead and coordinate U.S. and global immigration processes, partnering with outside counsel on visa sponsorships, work authorizations, and permanent residency matters
  • Support performance management, training initiatives, employee engagement programs, and HR communications
  • Maintain accurate employee records, reporting, and HR systems data
  • Assist with policy development, process improvements, and special HR projects
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 4+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Operations experience
  • Prior experience within financial services, investment management, private equity, hedge funds, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Deep knowledge of employment law, immigration regulations, and visa/work authorization processes is required
  • Strong understanding of HR compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office
