This is a great opportunity for someone looking to expand their HR knowledge across all functions ofthe profession, great at prioritizing and time management, and finally someone that is able to collaborate with employees at all levels.

  • You will have the opportunity to support all areas of HR. With a focus on recruitment and employee relations.
What you will do:
  • Lead the talent acquisition and hiring process, including scheduling interviews, conducting new employee orientation, and posting job ads.
  • Maintain employee records and enter employee changes in the HRIS timely and accurately.
  • Accurately complete all required reports, such as paid time off, attendance, etc.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits.
  • Monitor the orientation period for new employees ensuring necessary paperwork, performance reviews, and training is complete.
  • Act as the technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems related to the human resources function.
  • Verify employment of employees as requested. Follow up on all unemployment cases.
  • Coordinate the planning and preparation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Follow and comply with all safety regulations and work rules and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Assists with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, investigations, and the offboarding process.
  • Verify the accuracy of payroll reports and ensure any updates, such as safety reimbursements, wage attachments, and bonuses are tracked and accounted for.
  • Provides additional support to the HR team, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and shared success.

Education and/or Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent, one to three years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of both.
