Job summary

Universal Presentation Concepts (UPC) is seeking an HR Generalist to manage the full employee life cycle, from recruiting to off-boarding. The role ensures compliance with employment laws, OSHA, and company SOPs while maintaining confidential records.

The position updates HR policies, communicates SOPs, and handles payroll and benefits. It also plans employee events and participates in meetings to support a strong, compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications

• 4 years of HR or HR generalist experience.
• Payroll and benefits experience is required.
• Knowledge of 401(k), PTO, and health insurance benefits is preferred.
• Experience ensuring compliance with employment laws and SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Manage full employee life cycle (recruiting, onboarding, changes, and off-boarding).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory laws including employment, OSHA and insurance.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs and guidelines.
• Update and communicate HR policies, handbooks, and SOPs.
• Responsible for payroll and benefits administration.
• Maintain confidential employment records.
• Develop and execute employee events (picnic, rewards, wellness, etc.).
• Attend employee meetings.
