Job summary

SCHOTT Pharma is seeking a seasoned HR professional in the United States to lead employee relations, recruitment, and payroll administration within a fast-paced, matrix organization.

The role requires a BA/BS in HR or related field with 5+ years of HR experience in an industrial setting, strong knowledge of US/PA labor laws, and proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Kronos. cGMP/ISO familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field (required)
  • 5+ years experience executing HR functions, preferably in an industrial setting
  • Experience with US and PA labor laws
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and KRONOS
  • Knowledge of cGMP and ISO standards (preferred)
  • Detail oriented with service mindset
  • Strong written and verbal English
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, matrix-structured organization

Responsibilities

  • Foster strong relationships between employees and HR; be the first point of contact for employee matters/issues
  • Provide support to managers, supervisors and employees regarding employee relations
  • Recruit and lead the entire talent acquisition process for all open job vacancies, permanent and temporary
  • Maintain employee files with changes in compensation, position, benefits, training and disciplinary action
  • Update HR SAP and HR Org-Management to maintain information and document accuracy
  • Conduct hiring/staffing, benefits administration, new hire orientation, absenteeism, timekeeping, etc.
  • Support FMLA, short-term disability and workers’ compensation
  • Manage department initiatives and projects, meeting milestones and goals
  • Coordinate and roll out site employee activities
  • Recommend improvements to policies/procedures while ensuring labor law compliance
  • Manage payroll tasks and Kronos payroll system
  • Support safety/EHS directives and maintain a safe workspace; follow cGMP

  • Recommend continuous improvement measures regarding policies and/or procedures, while ensuring adherence to all labor laws and regulations regarding employment relationship
  • Manage payroll tasks and payroll system Kronos
  • Support safety/EHS directives and maintain a clean and safe workspace; follow cGMP
