Role Description

The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Florence, AL. This position is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR functions, including administering HR policies, coordinating employee benefits, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes. The HR Generalist will manage employee records, support performance management activities, and address routine employee inquiries. The role also involves ensuring compliance with employment laws, assisting with HR reporting, and collaborating with managers to promote a positive and consistent employee experience.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting general HR operations.
• Knowledge of HR Policies and compliance requirements, including application of company guidelines and employment law fundamentals.
• Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communication.
• Effective communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Ability to work on-site in Florence, AL, travel as needed to other office locations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build trust with employees at all levels.
• Proficiency with HRIS and basic office software; prior experience in an industrial or service-based environment is a plus.
• Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; HR certifications are beneficial.
