Job summary

Prime Healthcare St Francis Hospital in Evanston, IL is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and provide support across the organization. The role supports policy administration, compliance with laws, and multiple HR functions in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m., with a compensation package that includes a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related field preferred.
• PHR, SPHR or relevant HR certifications preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in Human Resources or related field required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
• Computer knowledge includes Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

The Human Resources Generalist manages the day-to-day operations and provides a wide variety of complex Human Resources support to all levels in the organization, ensuring the comprehensive administration of human resources policy and procedures. The position performs high-level professional duties in a variety of functional core human resources areas including affirmative action, acquisition projects, legal compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications

• 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or closely related field preferred.
• 2. PHR, SPHR or relevant human resources certifications or advanced degree preferred.
• 3. 1-2 years experience in Human Resources or related field required; healthcare experience preferred.
• 4. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of material with attention to detail.
• 5. Computer knowledge that includes Excel, Word, Outlook.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $70,803.20 to $95,284.80 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
