Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an HR Generalist in Georgia to manage HRIS/HRMS data, analyze workforce information, and support compensation, recruitment, and employee development initiatives. You will maintain employee records and generate key HR reports for decision-making.

• Valid State of Georgia Driver's License.
• Preferred Experience working with human resources information systems technology.
• Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification, Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Employee Benefits (CEB) or other designated professional certification.

Job description

• The Human Resources Generalist serves as the subject matter expert for the human resources management systems
• Duties include collecting data and analyzing it to improve HR strategies and processes
• Works to suggest ways to increase the functional productivity and workflow of the HR department
• Maintains Rockdale County's Human Resources Information System (HRIS), data and records
• Supports the compensation analyst with system data related to classification & compensation
• Provides informational support for designated Human Resources program areas such as Recruitment & Retention, Employee Relations, Benefits & Wellness, Performance management, as well as Learning & Development
• Prepares reports, records, and correspondence
• Maintains department records
• Handles special projects as assigned
• Analyzes and maintains human resources information systems and other computer applications and systems
• Coordinates and maintains departmental records to include official employee files both print and digital
• Assists the Compensation Analyst with verification and accuracy of the county's budgeted headcount and classification and pay plan based upon Board of Commissioners' actions

Requirements
