The HR Generalist will represent and initiate all HR activities in a given geographic region to support the growth and development of the company and its employees. The Generalist will be responsible for supporting the Company’s strategic objectives through education and leadership development, overseeing the functions of recruiting, employee relations, benefits, training, and legal compliance.RESPONSIBILITIES:Initiate all recruiting activities for North and South Carolina locations (five). Consisting of, daily involvement in all recruiting by posting jobs, sourcing applicants, screening resumes, performing phone interviews and occasionally in person interviews for minimum qualifications, and initiating onboarding processesConduct new hire orientations in person for North and South Carolina locationsMaintain the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positionsAssist with employee benefits programsEnsure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; and maintaining recordsRespond to unemployment claims and coordinate with state agencies to ensure timely, accurate resolutionsMaintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and proceduresMaintain and update Human Resources records on our HRIS system (Paycom)Assist with the performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organizationEnsure the processing of new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations is accurate and timelyCommunicate actively with internal business partnersSpearhead employee relations investigationsContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededMaintain accurate job descriptionsEnsure reporting of accidents/incidents and their investigation through training and follow-upsOther duties as assignedBENEFITS:Bi-weekly payroll via direct depositEligible to participate in group health, dental & vision insurance plans after 60 days full-time employmentSupplemental life, accident, cancer and short-term disability insurance available after 60 days full-time employmentRetirement Plans: Employee Stock Ownership Plan and 401(K) with matchPaid Time Off (PTO) from first day of employment2-3 years of recruiting experience4-5 of HR Generalist experienceBachelor's degree in Management or other Human Resources related field requiredPHR and/or SHRM certification highly preferredOrganized - attention to detailExcellent communication and \"people\" skillsAbility to keep sensitive information confidential and open communication with managementAbility to juggle multiple and changing priorities with little or no guidanceExperience working with Paycom preferredMust be able to travel withing the Carolina's - Raleigh, High Point, Myrtle Beach and Charleston.
