Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an HR Generalist to support a growing workforce across production hangars, labs, a live test range, and an office in Austin, TX. You will own employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS administration, benefits and leave administration, and policy rollout, with a focus on ITAR compliance.

You will build procedures and templates for scalable HR processes, working directly with employees on site rather than through a ticket queue, ensuring data integrity and audit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years as an HR generalist or senior coordinator with direct employee relations.
• Knowledge of federal and Texas employment law including FLSA and I-9.
• Hands-on HRIS administration with data integrity and reporting.
• Discretion with confidential employee information and sound judgment.

Insight Global is seeking an HR Generalist in Austin, TX. The current team's function is two people supporting a workforce spread across production hangars, energetics labs, a live test range, and an office, and headcount is growing faster than the paperwork behind it. This is the first true generalist seat: employee relations, onboarding and offboarding, HRIS administration in the ATS, benefits and leave, policy rollout, and the employment compliance

record for an ITAR-controlled site. Most of this has been handled case by case rather than written down, so you are building the procedures, templates, and files a company heading into high-rate production needs to survive an audit. You will work with employees directly, on the floor and at the range, not through a ticket queue.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years as an HR generalist or senior coordinator, including direct employee relations work you handled yourself.
• Working knowledge of federal and Texas employment law, including FLSA classification, leave administration, and I-9 requirements.
• Hands-on HRIS administration experience, with the discipline to keep data clean and run reports without help.
