Job summary

CRG Search is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to handle the full spectrum of HR responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. You will manage recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, leaves, and HR administration for a diverse blue-collar workforce in Greensboro, NC.

The role requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad range of day-to-day HR functions including employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR administration
• Administer employee leaves and related processes (FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation)
• Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers with timely HR answers
• Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion and sound judgment
• Support recruiting efforts and ensure a positive employee experience from hiring through employment
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation with attention to detail
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Partner with employees across varying levels of technical experience and communication styles
• Help drive HR initiatives while remaining collaborative
• Utilize HRIS and other systems to maintain information and support HR processes

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HR Generalist experience
• Hands-on experience with FMLA, ADA, and workers' compensation
• Recruiting and employee relations experience
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
• Self-starter who can take ownership and "run with it" after receiving direction
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to different employees, personalities, and situations
• Strong integrity, ethics, and discretion when handling confidential HR matters
• Reliable attendance and a strong sense of accountability
• Comfortable working with a hands‑on, blue‑collar employee population

Preferred Qualifications:

• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
• Bilingual Spanish/English communication skills
• Manufacturing or other blue-collar industry experience
• ADP Workforce Now experience
• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required for candidates with significant relevant HR Generalist experience and appropriate HR certification.
