Job summary

Columbia Child Development Program, Inc. seeks a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

You'll coordinate hiring, onboarding, benefits, records, and HR reporting while ensuring compliance with agency, state, and federal requirements. Join a mission-driven team focused on children and families.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or related field with at least two years' experience; OR Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Candidates with strong background in human resources or administration will be considered.
  • Strong computer, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with HR systems, personnel processes, or compliance tracking preferred.
  • Paylocity experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and employee orientation processes
  • Maintain personnel records and HR systems including Paylocity
  • Track employee clearances, trainings, evaluations, and compliance deadlines
  • Monitor and follow up on required documentation and recurring HR processes
  • Support benefits enrollment and employment-related paperwork
  • Assist supervisors with employee documentation and personnel processes including departures
  • Prepare required HR reports and maintain confidential records
  • Help ensure HR processes remain organized, accurate, and on schedule
  • Unemployment, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation
  • Prepare required HR reports and maintain compliance with agency, state, federal, and Head Start requirements.

Columbia Child Development Program, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the day-to-day HR operations of our agency. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do
