Job summary

Tuopu USA is seeking an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced automotive parts manufacturing environment in Austin, Texas. You will help with onboarding, employee records, attendance tracking, benefits administration, policy communication, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a positive workplace culture.

You will collaborate with supervisors and employees to manage HR processes, maintain accurate data in HRIS, and assist with employee engagement initiatives

  • Answer HR questions on policies, benefits, payroll, and procedures.
  • Coordinate training and track records.
  • Administer benefits enrollment and leave requests.
  • Prepare verification letters and HR documents.
  • Monitor policy compliance and labor laws.
  • Assist employee engagement initiatives and company events.
  • Generate routine HR reports and maintain data in HRIS.
  • Support workers' compensation and incident documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

Job Description:

The HR Generalist supports daily human resources operations within a fast-paced automotive parts manufacturing environment. This position assists with onboarding, employee records management, attendance tracking, benefits administration, policy communication, and employee support. The HR Generalist works closely with supervisors and employees to ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations while helping maintain a positive workplace culture.


Responsibilities:


  • Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork.

  • Support recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates.

  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR records.

  • Help process employment status changes, including transfers, promotions, and terminations.

  • Support timekeeping and attendance tracking processes.

  • Assist employees with HR-related questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and company procedures.

  • Coordinate employee training and maintain training records.

  • Help administer benefits enrollment and employee leave requests.

  • Prepare employment verification letters and other HR documentation.

  • Monitor compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and labor laws.

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and company events.

  • Generate routine HR reports and maintain accurate data in HRIS systems.

  • Support workers' compensation and incident documentation processes.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • 1-3 years of HR, administrative, or manufacturing support experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems preferred.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
