JOB STATUS: Full time (40 hours), 12 months

LOCATION: Marshall, MN

As a Technology Systems Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Transportation Department by managing and improving the technologysystems that keep our operations moving.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Move Technology Forward: Supporttechnology projects from research andplanning through implementation and deployment.
• Keep Systems Running: Maintain, repair,and upgrade computers, software,hardware, and operating systems for localand remote users.
• Provide Tech Support & Training: Troubleshoot hardware, software, network,VPN, and VoIP issues, and deliver clear,effective technology training.
• Manage Technology Assets: Purchase,inventory, and track equipment whiledocumenting support and repair history.
• Support Daily Operations: Perform routine system checks and updates and serve as a key liaison between staff and management on technology needs.

• You know your networks: You’re comfortablewith TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and Active Directory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum: Associate degree in ComputerScience with two (2) years of related ITexperience. An equivalent combination ofeducation and experience may be considered.
• Preferred: A+ Certification and other relevantindustry certifications.
