Qualifications

Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr

As an HR director, you will lead a team of HR professionals to provide services to small and medium hospitality businesses. You will be responsible for initiating, building and sustaining relationships, architecting and delivering leading HR solutions, and supporting the development of our team. Prior experience in a consultative role, liaising with senior-level executives, and managing projects is essential for this role, in addition to a deep understanding and appreciation of general HR principles, strategies and tactics. You must also bring tireless curiosity, exceptional attention to detail and unblemished professional ethics and integrity to our firm.

  • Distilling complex concepts into approachable, impactful communications, tools and processes
  • Understanding and analyzing an organization’s current state and communicating and prioritizing opportunities for improvement
  • Exceptional PPT, Excel, and written communication skills to execute flawless executive-level deliverables
  • Leading, inspiring and influencing team members and clients
  • Providing structure, accountability and oversight to ensure consistently excellent project execution

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the senior HR leader supporting a portfolio of clients
  • Steering strategy and action plans in collaboration with project teams
  • Cultivating accountability for attention to detail and risk management
  • Advising clients on employee relations, compliance, management and strategic matters
  • Attending client meetings to review project deliverables, answer questions, and discuss opportunities
  • Providing regular client status reports and proactively escalating potential concerns/issues

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years’ experience in HR leadership role
  • Prior experience in hospitality management preferred
  • Deep knowledge of HR principles including, but not limited to, wage & hour compliance, employee relations, payroll management, succession planning, DE&I, and compensation and benefits strategy
  • Strong MS office skills, business communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in written and spoken Spanish preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required; human resources, business administration, or related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, PMP, or other related certification preferred
  • Master’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
