Job summary

Strategic Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to serve as a trusted resource to leadership and to drive a positive, organized, and people-focused employee experience. This hands-on leader will manage day-to-day HR operations, support employees and managers, and strengthen culture as the company grows.

The role covers employee relations, performance management, retention, compliance, and overall HR strategy, with a strong emphasis on recruiting and workforce

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience.
• Prior HR management or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and employment compliance.
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources Director who can serve as a trusted resource to leadership while creating a positive, organized, and people-focused employee experience!

This is a hands-on HR leadership role for someone who is confident managing the day-to-day functions of Human Resources, supporting employees and managers, and helping strengthen company culture as the organization continues to grow. Recruiting will be an important part of the position, but the broader focus will include on employee relations, performance management, retention, compliance, and overall HR strategy.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day Human Resources operations and initiatives
• Serve as a trusted HR partner to leadership, managers, and employees
• Manage employee relations matters and provide thoughtful guidance on workplace concerns
• Support managers with coaching, performance issues, conflict resolution, and employee development
• Coordinate performance management processes, employee reviews, and ongoing feedback
• Help develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates
• Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Oversee benefits administration and assist employees with benefits‑related questions
• Support employee engagement, retention, and company culture initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records and confidential HR documentation
• Assist with workforce planning and organizational development
• Participate in recruiting and hiring efforts, including interviewing candidates and partnering with leadership on hiring decisions
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and trusted outside recruiting partners when additional hiring support is needed
• Oversee onboarding and help ensure new employees have a strong introduction to the organization
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, communication, and the overall employee experience

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional Human Resources experience
• Prior HR management or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, HR operations, and employment compliance
• Experience with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding
• Strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment when working with employees at all levels
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities and a collaborative mindset
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and confidential matters
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to HR
• Ability to work independently while remaining collaborative with leadership and outside partners
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field preferred
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus
