Job summary

Cor Healthcare Partners is seeking a Human Resources Director to lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations. You will partner with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture and ensure compliance with employment laws, supporting employees throughout their employment journey.

Responsibilities include guiding recruitment, onboarding, benefits explanations, records management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous Human Resources experience preferred.
• Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and regulatory compliance, or a willingness to learn.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and HR information systems preferred.

• Manage onboarding process, including new hire orientation and training coordination.
• Explain employee benefits, compensation, and company policies to new and existing employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Conduct reference checks and coordinate background screenings.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Update job descriptions and hiring requirements as needed.
• Support employee relations by addressing workplace questions and concerns.
• Assist with employee safety, wellness, training, and engagement initiatives.
• Represent Hiawatha Care Center at recruiting events and within the community.
• Collaborate with department leaders on workforce planning and staffing needs.
• Perform other human resources and administrative duties as assigned.
